Android One Phone – Google’s Offer

Google introduces Android One Smart phone behind China and the United States , which already fixes its place in India. Its costing is 6,399 rupees, or about $105. Actually India is the world’s third-largest smart phone market. This market is so promotional that it is expected to double by 2018. So Google associated with Microsoft, Karbonn and Spice. Only Amazon India, Flipkart and Snapdeal will sell the phones online. Later on Google will hope for Indonesia and the Phillippines.

Google’s Senior Vice President, Sundar Pichai, expressed “We’re making it easier for our partners to build phones that are not just great to use, but also affordable.” It’s a chance for Google advertisement through the Android One. But there’s an anti-point of this mobile on the basis of cost. The local device maker, Intex associated with Mozilla Firefox introduced a $ 35 smart phone which seems to be a rival to Google’s Android. After observing all these Hemant Joshi, a partner at the consulting firm Deloitte Haskins & Sells , utters “A mobile revolution is around the corner as falling phone prices drive mass adoption.”
